10X was founded by Nic Clark, Ryll Burgin-Doyle, Rob Nixon and Michael Sheargold in 2007 and commenced operating in February 2008. 10X was conceived to be the industry-leading solution to the challenge of delivering business development services to proactive accounting firms, the opportunity to add a turnkey 10X division to their firm, which runs as a standalone profit centre.
While other systems have tried and failed to successfully address the market need for services relating to cash-flow management, succession planning, profitability and business growth, 10X is the complete, “plug and play” solution that combines the financial know how of the accounting firm with business growth strategies to dramatically improve the profitability of the accounting firm and the bottom line their clients’ businesses.
10X works exclusively with the Accounting profession, where 10X’s franchises are an “add-on” division to accounting practices, servicing the SME market with coaching services.
Many business owners are great at what they specialise in (for example, plumbing) but when it comes to marketing, sales, finance or team training, they may not be experts. 10X’s coaching products and services help SME owners identify opportunities to improve various aspects of their business, ultimately giving them a competitive edge and a better quality of life.
To date, 10X’s Business has been the 10X Franchise System solely but now 10X is extending its business model, integrating 10X accounting, financial and business development services through direct ownership of accounting and financial planning firms, alongside its 10X franchise network.
